Pentru realizarea piesei, James a lucrat cu producatorul suedez Max Martin (celebru pentru colaborarile cu Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, si `NSYNC).

"Carry You Home" va fi disponibil pentru download pe internet incepand cu data de 10 martie, varianta alb-negru lansata ieri fiind o pre-premiera.

Povestea din clip prezinta reactia iubitei unui soldat in momentul in care primeste vestea mortii acestuia de la unul dintre camarazii lui (James Blunt).
