Avril Lavigne a lansat videoclipul celui de-al patrulea (si ultimul) single, "The Best Damn Thing", de pe albumul cu acelasi nume. Debutul a avut loc pe 4 aprilie la MTV TRL Italia.

Clipul a fost regizat de celebrul Wayne Isham (care a mai lucrat cu Madonna si Britney Spears) si o prezinta pe Avril in doua ipostaze diferite: in prima ea este interpreta unei trupe de punk rock iar in a doua este majoreta, imbracata in roz. In material apare si fratele ei, Matthew.

In prezent Avril se afla in turneul "Best Damn Tour" impreuna cu trupele Jonas Brothers si Boys Like Girls.
